{"id":134,"date":"2015-08-03T14:32:16","date_gmt":"2015-08-03T14:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ergonomics.eu\/FEES_WP\/2015\/08\/03\/etui-fees-project-on-ergonomics-and-machinery\/"},"modified":"2024-07-15T05:40:46","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T05:40:46","slug":"etui-fees-project-on-ergonomics-and-machinery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ergonomics.eu\/FEES_WP\/2015\/08\/03\/etui-fees-project-on-ergonomics-and-machinery\/","title":{"rendered":"ETUI \/ FEES project on Ergonomics and Machinery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of ETUI and FEES have met in March 2015 with the aim to set up a cooperation between FEES and ETUI in the field of the ergonomic design and use of machines.<\/p>\n<p>Both parties have presented their experiences and reflections in this field, taking into account ergonomic principles. They intend to foster a FEES \/ ETUI joint project on the issue of \u201cworkers representatives and ergonomists cooperation in Europe in the field of the design and use of machines: state of the art and ways of improvement\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The feedback methodology used recently on products such as forklift trucks, and agricultural machinery (harvester, tractors, woodworking,\u2026) by ETUI could be used in the project.<\/p>\n<p>The main results expected of this \u201cErgonomics and machinery project\u201d are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To do the mapping of ergonomics and machinery in Europe in order to enrich the different existing networks related to ergonomics and machines concerns, such as trade unionists, ergonomists, designers, users\u2026,<\/li>\n<li>To consider the social dialogue on these OSH issues, where there are worker representatives without links (or weak links) with Trade unions, to have a better overview of this situation in Europe,<\/li>\n<li>To consider the possibility to have some national relay via FEES in European countries, according to the different national backgrounds,<\/li>\n<li>To prepare propositions for the next IEA 2018 Congress in Florence in order to present the results of common projects on this topic, following the workshops organized this year (2015).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The future steps of the project are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To do the mapping of ergonomics and machinery in order to know the situation in Europe through a FEES project: a first sum up is expected for the end of October 2015; To organize a seminar in November 2015 (on the 12th and 13th) in Paris in order to share information and reflections and to decide new steps of the joint project.<\/li>\n<li>FEES executive asks member societies to provide information on the activities conducted by ergonomists in the field of machines and ergonomics, for example:\n<ul>\n<li>enquiries or reports,<\/li>\n<li>debates inside the standardization groups on ergonomics issues,<\/li>\n<li>academic and expert resources in the field of machines and ergonomics,<\/li>\n<li>innovative projects\/symposiums in the field of ergonomics design of machines.<\/li>\n<li>financial resources which may be mobilized in order to foster training sessions or research in this field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>To make known if some members are interested in the attendance at the next FEES \/ ETUI seminar please send all useful information to: <a>secretary-general@ergonomics-fees.eu. <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of ETUI and FEES have met in March 2015 with the aim to set up a co-operation between FEES and ETUI in the field of the ergonomic design and use of machines. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent\" alt=\"FFES Logo\" align=\"none\" src=\"http:\/\/ergonomics-fees.eu\/sites\/default\/files\/FEES_Logo.png\" width=\"200\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[30,5],"tags":[75],"class_list":["post-134","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-machinery","category-ergonomics_projects","tag-etui"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.3 -
