The European Month of Ergonomics campaign was established to support the International Ergonomics Association and promote ergonomics among other professions and the general public.<\/p>\n

In 2009, our first campaign, ” Know Your Ergonomist,” emphasized the importance of having ergonomic specialists in workplaces to prevent musculoskeletal disorders and create healthy working conditions. This work can only be effective if ergonomists directly contact the workers.<\/p>\n

In subsequent years, we combined the European Month of Ergonomics campaign with the Healthy Workplaces campaign, showcasing the importance of the ergonomics profession and the added value provided by ergonomists concerning the current theme.<\/p>\n

The European Month of Ergonomics is realized through the activities of individual ergonomics societies. We publish theme-specific materials on our website, which the societies use in their events, enriching them with their experiences to share further.<\/p>\n

The PowerPoint presentations are intended to support the European Month of Ergonomics arranged by the national member societies of the FEES. Their purpose is to disseminate the message of the EME in possible seminars, meetings, or other events related to the European Month of Ergonomics. The basic content can also be used in articles or other communication material for the campaign. The presentation is distributed in PowerPoint format to be translated and modified for local use, possibly shortened and added by local examples, photos, etc.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we ask the members of the FEES national societies to gather experiences on the European Month of Ergonomics (information on events, articles, initiatives, etc.) to develop the next campaign and share them within the national societies.<\/p>\n\n
